Stabilization and Conservation
Committee in Clinton County and
was a committee member from
1940 to 1949. Doebler also helped
organize the Clinton County
Conservation District in 1956 and
was appointed to the state con
servation committee in 1967.
Doebler’s interest in hybrid seed
corn research began in 1937 at the
Pine Creek Farm. Over the years,
he provided test plot land for Penn
State researchers and served as a
member of the ag research ad
visory council at the University.
