1330-pound Maine Anjou steer.
Deb Greider, R 2 Columbia, who
received grand champion title at
the Lancaster County competition
on Monday, finished fifth in the
1160-1215-pound class. Deb’s steer
was purchased by Hamilton Bank
for 75 cents per pound. The bank
plans to donate the steer to the
county 4-H club for its annual
banquet in February.
Coming in second in the light
weight division was Tammy
Marsh, named Reserve Champion
Reserve Champion honors in the showmanship division
went to Lori Good of Lancaster County. Lori showed a 1330-
pound Maine Anjou.
Sheila Fairbairn of Chester County received Tuc Her entry was a 1105-pound
the top showman title for the district show, Limousin crossbred.
Tracey Landis of Quarryville sold her for $1.06 per pound. This purebred Angus . 'P'
reserve champion steer to Willie the Butcher weighed in at 1230 pounds. market lamb to Willie the Butcher for $2.52VS per pound.
