It is the first farm on the left. 3-Em Tran, one of the largest embryo transfer facilities in the area, will display its laboratory area and other buildings for recipient heifers. On Et. 230, two miles west of Elizabethtown, cross bridge and turn right to the first farm on the left. 4-The dairy operation of the Nelson Hershey family includes about 70 cows. Follow Rt. 462 to Mountville, turn left on Hershey Mill Road and then left on Rohrer Road. 5-Energy conservation will be featured at the Nelson Habecker dairy farm. The Habeckers utilize solar panels not only to help heat their home but also for heating domestic water, hi the barn, heat from the milk cooling compressor is used to heat water for cleanup and also to heat the milk house. FFA and 4-H exhibits and petting animals will also be located on the Habecker farm. From the south side of the Rt. 283 bypass, exit at McGovernville to the Florys Mill Road. 7- Cherry Hill orchard operation of the Richard Haas family. Storage, packing and sales areas will be on display.
