When the 4-H winner, a 1235- pound roan and white cross out of a Charolais-Angus cow and a Mame- Anjou bull, was pitted against a 1310-pound yellowy-beige behemoth that mixed Charolais with Chianma, judge Dan Loy, Penn State grad student and coach of the livestock judging team, went to the smaller, stockier animal. The roan and white was shown by 15-year-old Lon Good, daughter of Paul and Vera Good, 795 W. Lexington Rd., Lititz R 6.
