This decision left Reserve Champion honors tor a two-year old, Y-Brookside Big Valley 114, shown by Scott Troutman, Myerstown. Francisco described this cow as having the least faults of her class and being very symetncal. In the 4-H show, Troutman’s cow was pushed up to senior and grand champion leaving reserve honors for three-year-old Russeldale B - "Sk rx* Zip — State, Chief Pepsi, owned by Jay Bicksler, Richland. Buch, 23, works at home with his father, Rodger Buch, Fleetwood. They maintain a herd ot about 48 cows, and have a rolling herd average of 18,000 pounds milk. Buch also won Grand Champion honors at this year’s Kutztown Fair. Scott Troutman, 16, is a junior at Conrad Weiser High School. Looking on are the Berks County alternate dairy princess and show judge. , Jay Bicksier, 16, son of Mr. anil Mrs. Ray Bicksier, Richland, is a sophomore at Tulpehocken High School. He too has been showing for eight years. In the 4-H and Open junior shows, champion honors went to Connie Ohlinger, Mohrsville for her semor yearling; The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Ohlinger, Connie is attending eleventh grade at Schuylkill Valley High School. She presently has 17 head of Holsteins at home, seven of which are in the milking string. The Ohlingers are milking 38 head and producing a record of 20,500 pounds milk with 720 fat.
