Good Grade, Choice 4 steady.
Demand moderate at best with
trading volume about normal for a
Wednesday. However, trading
turned slow after noon. Carcass
supplies moderate, but most
processors continue bearish and
cautious in face of heavy supplies
and slow movement of boxed beef
items. The boxed beef carcass
cutout value declined $.42 to an
estimated $108.14 per cwt. Sales
reported on 75 loads of steer and
heifer beef.
