Steers and Heifers ended the week
firm to .50 higher. Cows steady to
1.00 higher, Bulls steady, instances
2.00 higher. Trade opened the week
slow, but turned fairly active as a
result of light midweek supply.
Steers over 1100 lbs. and Heifers
in excess of 950 lbs. sought after
and rapidly traded. Heifers under
900 lbs., arriving in less numbers,
remain under pressure and sell
with discounts. Receipts this week
2500 as compared to 1620 a week
ago and 3025 a year ago.
