Peek-a-boo; I see you
LANCASTER Dairy animals,
particularly when young, are
playful by nature.
At tunes, they can be seen
playing different types of games -
barnyard butting, peek-a-boo or
hide-and-go-seek.

Almost hidden in the underbrush
is the calf who appears to be
playing a game of natural
camouflage. If it wasn’t for the
white blaze, it would be almost
hidden. It was sent in by Nancy
McMahon, of Avondale.
Finally, even youngsters like to
play peek-a-boo. In the photo
