participate in a series of four
educational meetings on powers,
duties, and financial management
of local government. The first
session is scheduled for Wed
nesday, September 16, 8:00 P.M.,
in the Extension Meeting Room,
Court House, Honesdale.
Speakers for these sessions will

Development Agent, Pennsylvania

begins busy year
LEWISTOWN - Debra Brad
ford, crowned Mifflin County’s
Dairy Princess In the early
summer, has already begun a busy
year of milk promotional ac
tivities.
Debra is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William Bradford- of
Lewis town. She is a student at
Penn State University’s Altoona
Campus where she is majoring in
agricultural business
management.
Alternate princess, Patti Mit
chell, is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. David Mitchell of R 5
Lewistown. Patti will be a senior at
Chief Logan High School this year
and is active in band.
During the. pageant, the con
testants were judged on their
answers to an impromptu question
and each contestant’s three
minute presentation.
