Lancaster Society 6 met
Saturday, September 5 at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Musser Heisey’s
summer home at Mt. Gretna.
Thirteen members responded to
the roll call by giving a joke or
riddle.
Plans were made to have a
luncheon at Marietta and an
auction of foods at one of the
meetings.
The president announced the
Christmas bazaar will be held
October 27 and 28 at the Farm and
Home Center.
The October meeting will be a
representative of Hospice
speaking at the home of Ruth
Weidman, Elizabethtown.

One member, Mable Hershey,
asked for members to supply food
and help at the salad bar at
“Christmas in October” at the
Farm and Home Center.
The worker’s committee will
visit Conestoga View, September
17.
Officers were elected. They are
as follows: vice president, Erma
Hollinger; corresponding
secretary, Mary McClenegan; and
treasurer, Amelia Crb.
The county convention will be on
Saturday, Novebmer 7. Society 27
