HARRISBURG - Land ap
plication of sewage sludge will be
the topic of a senripar and
demonstration on October 14,1981.
This event is being sponsored by
the Dauphin County Conservation
District and the Penn State
Cooperative Extension Service.
An introductory forum will be
held in the Hummelstown Fire
Hall. Topics to be discussed in
clude economic gains of applying
sewage sludge to the land, the crop
and soil benefits of sludge ap
plication, the fate of heavy metals
icipants watch as sludge application process which both conditions the soil and
