Cindy Gertz, 18, o! Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, was back winning top honors with her seven year-old Quarter horse gelding, Clark’s Joker, for the third con secutive year, while D. Joy Tice, 14, of Harwood, Anne Arundel County, continued her winning ways from junior Western com petition in previous years with Bobalots, a six-year-old Quarter horse mare. Bonnie Connelly, 18, of Dundalk, Baltimore County, won top honors in senior grooming and showmanship, as well as three first-place finishes in the Western performance classes with Kakit’s Sacajawea.
