M. Landis Inc, and its owner, Arden L. Landis, ot Mainland, Montgomery County, have been charged by the U.S. Department ot Agriculture with violating financial protection requirements ot the Packers and Stockyards Act. These charges were hied with the - federal hearing clerk on August 10, according to Packers and Stockyards Information Specialist Edwin Moltett. According to Moffett, Landis was served with his notice of violation on August 13, after which he had 20 days to request a hearing or consent to the charges.
