Champion female in the breeding beet classes was a summer yearling Hereford heiter shown by Mane Erway, Genesee. Reserve champion was Coca-Cola Cowgirl, a Charolais-Heretord, shown by Michelle Hyde, Millport. Grand champion steer was ‘Hardball’, shown by Mane Er way. Hardball is a Hereford-cross bred and first place in the heavy weight class. First place in the mediumweight went to Leon Tice, Couderspot, with his Angus- Holstem Enos. First place in showing and fitting went to Michelle Hyde in the senior age group and to Mike Hyde in the intermediate age group. In the dairy competition, grand and senior champion female Holstein was Sadore Heather Bootnick Heddy, owned by David L. Risser, Genesee.
