LEBANON Lebanon County 4-
H equestrians competed m their
county roundup recently during
the Lebanon Area Fair.
One of the skillful winners at this
year’s show was Sharon Henney,
lb, of R 1 Myerstown
Astride her Anglo-Arab gelding,
•Royal Red’, Henney was a team
member of the first place pleasure
pairs duo. Her partner in the event
was Jeanne Pierce.
The daughter of Robert and Ruth
Henney, Sharon has been com
peting in 4-H riding shows for the
past two years. She has chosen to
ride hunt seat rather than western
in the events. Her efforts were
recognized by the judge during the
roundup as Sharon was awarded
third place in both the Semor
Hunter Equitation class and the
Hunter Horse under 14.2 hands
class.
The enthusiastic horsewoman
also was a member of the second
place county team, consisting of
Jeanne Pierce, Jackie Brown, and
Sharon.
