The idea for the picnic according to Susan Dutrey, executive secretary of the association was to “provide the members a place to get together, meet one another, and eat some good bar-b-q young lamb.” The approximate 100 sheep producers in attendance polished off four young lambs donated by Honey Valley Farm in Dallstown. The lambs were roasted over an open charcoal fire, with nothing but salt to flavor the meat. •‘We hope this will be our first /^ JP^FEATURING 'LEWIS FAMILY (13) ■X ’BLUE6RASS CARDINALS (12113) \ 'BOYS FROM INDIANA (12113)’ 'DAVE EVANSIRIVER BEND(12&13) V.'DON REHOiTHE TENNESSEE CUT-UPS(11112) \ *LOST&FOUND(I2tI3) 'SPIRITS OF BtUEGRASS (12113) \ 'JOHNSON MOUNTAIN BOYS (11112) -DRY BRANCH FIRE SQUAD ‘LATE NITE GARAGE 111112) ‘COFFERS QUARTET (13) Show judge John Marchezak, Bentleyville, is flanked by Fayette County’s top Holstein Breeder and Exhibitors.
