A unique, patented feeding plan that temporarily uses the
hen’s body stores of protein and other nutrients for egg
production. A specially-designed, lower fortified Nutri-Cycle
(NIC) ration is fed 4 days after the hen is 40 to 45 weeks of
age. She uses her body stores plus nutrients in the NTC
ration to continue laying at a normal rate. Then her stores
are replenished by feeding a regular Bio Layena' ration for
12 days. The cycle is repeated. Subsequent production
remains normal, but feed costs are reduced.
