Stoltzfus sweeps hog show
Scott Stoltzfus, son of Mr. & Mrs.
J. Wilmer Stoltzfus, Elverson, had
never shown a champion 4-H hog.
He had come close many times,
but recently his dream came true.
Scott’s home-raised 250 lb. Duroc
cross barrow was named Grand
Champion of Chester and
Delaware Counties 4-H Swine
Show.
Not only was Stoltztus’s named
Grand Champion, out Scott
himself was named Champion
Senior Showman. For his ac
complishments, Scott received a
trophy donated by Lancaster-
Chester County Pork Producers
Council for his champion hog. He
also received a trophy donated by
ABC Groff Inc., New Holland, for
his showmanship ability. The
