LAURELTON An aged cow
shown by Zi-We Dairy Farm,
Mifflmburg, took the cham
pionship at the West End Fair open
class Holstein show, held here
August 5.
The champion cow, Irons
Georgia-Lee, has a production
record of 18,100 pounds for 305
days. The cow show by William
Zimmerman, gave birth to a bull
calf the evening after the show was
completed.
Reserve champion honors at the
show, went to a three year old cow
named Clar-Dot Charlie Berry
Red, owned by Kenneth Beiler of
Mifflmburg.
The junior champion Holstein
went to Clar-Dot Milestone Sylvia,
owned by Clarence Seller, Mif
fhnburg. The reserve junior
champion went to JoAnn Beiler
also of Mifflinburg, with her
senior heifer calf, Clar-Dot Doctor
Chimp.
