Susan, a graduate ot the Lan caster General Hospital and employee at the General’s neurological-surgical intensive care unit, represents cancer volunteers throughout the state. Susan was presented with $25 from the Society to be given to cancer research. Tour guide was Rev. Robert Turner. Members were introduced to the counselor, Joseph Muller, who shared prison statistics concerning the prison facility and information concerning inmates. The Society also visited the women on the outmate program. Also present were the Chaplin, Rev. D. Rissita and the depart ment warden, Dennis Philber. Rev. Robert Turner shared with the Farm Women experiences he encountered as a missionary. Ladies then shopped in Harrisburg. Members returned from Harrisburg and held their July meeting at the home of president, Mae Hosier. Ladies voted to present Rev. Robert Turner with a love gift. Ladies will have a food Society 20 Tulpehocken Church. Arrangements are being made for the Chanty Bazaar on September 11 and 12.
