His plots will be on view at Ag Progress Day at the Newark Experimental Farm on Wed nesday, August 5, from 4 p.n, until 8.30 pm. Besides the plots on the silt loam soil at Newark and the sandy soil at Georgetown, he also has plots on the tarms ot two cooperating tarmers, Clitt Murray ot Selbyville, on high orgamc matter soil, and Joe Hughes, ot Felton, on a sandy loam sod. In other work, Wisk is looking at the interactions ot row spacing, planting date and soybean varieties at Newark and Georgetown. He’s comparing ten varieties, including some new ones, planted either during the tirst week ot June or the second week ot July, at 7, 14 and 28-mch row spacmgs.
