Eggs
Friday, July 17
Report supplied by NJDA
Trade sentiment throughout the
nation is steady but nervous. Car
toned egg orders are irregular
ranging light to good. Supplies and
offerings of jumbo and extra large
are seasonally tight; large and
smaller sizes are in good balance
to fully adequate, instances ample
on pullets. Spent hen offerings are
light. Breakers confronting ade
quate to fully adequate stocks are
usually holding to basic needs only.
NORTH ATLANTIC - Trade sen
timent is nervous at current price
levels. Cartoned eggs movement is
irregular ranging light to fairly
good. Offerings of large and lighter
weight eggs have mcreased in
availability and occasionally lots
of graded mediums and smalls are
reported discounted to clear. Sup
plies of breaking stock, particular
ly undergrades are fully sufficient
for a light to fair buying interest.
