C4—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, July 18,1981 Notebook J Ida Sisser A y That garden of mine is a slave driver sometimes. As soon as I get one thing in line another gets out ot line—l could work there con stantly. As soon as I neglect it to harvest crops, the weeds get ahead of me. Then, after I spend a few hours hoeing, I find that the second crop of peas ready for picking. Even though the pea vines turn yellow, I feel it is worth it to let them bloom a second time before removing the 500 feet of fence that supports them. As soon as the last strawberry is picked, I can turn around and find the black raspberries have ripened. This year, for the first time, my husband has been bringing me a few red raspberries CUSTOM BUILT HAY WAGONS Built with steel racks, oak frame and floor. .Order now for early delivery.
