Slaughter steers dosed 1.00 to 1.50
lower. Heifers steady to weak, in
stances .25 to .50 lower. Cows
steady to 1.00 higher. Bulls steady.
Trade opened the week slow with
buyers antidpating a lower beef
trade. By midweek live prices
followed the sharply lower carcass
beef trade with most downturn
noted on steers. Receipts this week
about 2600 as compared to 3070 a
week ago and 3260 a year ago.
