sylvania Association of Farm
Cooperative Summer Youth In
stitute at Shippensburg State
College Sunday to Wednesday.
Those named to attend the In
stitute are Robert Livingston,
Dover; and Michele Bankert,
Hanover.
Winners were selected on the
basis of their knowledge of the
business enterprise system in
America, the cooperative way of
doing business, and on activities of
the participants identifying them
with school, community, church,
and youth organizations.

The Institute program is
designed to teach youth more
about the business enterprise
system m the United States, to help
in planning their future by pointing
out career possibilities in agri
business, and providing op
portunities for individual
leadership development.
Approximately 150 young adults,
representing the best of over 4,000
participants m the annual P.A.F.C.
youth education program, will
attend the four-day conference.
Climax of the Institute will be the
selection of delegates to attend the
American Institute of
Cooperation’s annual youth con
ference at Colorado State
University, July 27-30.
There they will join with 500
other future leaders from the
United States, Canada, and Puerto

The conservation of water and
its use will be the theme of the tour
for this year. Some of the in
teresting stops on the tour will
include:
—Hunterdon Hill Holsteins,
Rosemont, where tour participants
will see a unique system for the
distribution of the manure on the
land.

number of water conservation
