WASHINGTON, D.C. -
Secretary of Agriculture John H.
Block will be featured speaker at
the 23rd Annual Convention of the
National Corn Growers
Association on July 16. This NCGA
Annual Convention of U.S. fanners
will be held at the Hyatt Regency

In announcing Secretary Block’s
acceptance of the NCGA invitation
to participate in the 1981 con
vention, Bill Mullins, President of
the NCGA Board of Directors,
commented”...that the timing and
the issues confronting U.S. corn
farmers during the middle part of
July only places more importance
upon Secretary Block’s presen
tation to U.S. com farmers.” A
com farmer from Shabbona,
Illinois, Mullins cited the following
issues and matters of genuine
concern to U.S. com farmers;
t'the outlook for resuming U.S.

with negotiations likely to begin in
late July or early August;

growth promotant.
Stafac (virginiamycin) growth promotant slows
feed passage to help your hogs gain faster on
less reed.
In the gut, bacteria produce lactic acid which
reduces nutrient availability. Stafac eliminates
many of those bacteria, which compete with hogs
for energy and protein. It makes more nutrients
available, slows the feed passage and gives hogs
more time to utilize the nutrients.
Stafac helps you get your hogs to market in
less time on less feed, so you can move more
hogs through your facilities each year and net
more profit per hog. It’s that simple. Stop in
