used with a 3, 4 or 5 hp condensing unit, either conventional or Mueller
HiPerForm Note If the HiPerForm is selected, the unit must be modified for

Tests have shown that the Mueller Refrigerated Receiver can be thoroughly
cleaned by an automatic pipeline washing system It is important, however,
that the dairyman ensures that an adequate amount of hot water is provided
for washing It is suggested a Mueller Fre-Heater be used to ensure an
adequate supply of hot water
* PERFORMANCE: Performance of the Refrigerated Receiver will vary some
what, depending on the milking system arrangement and milking practices
What does the Refrigerated Receiver do for the dairyman?
Basically, it cools milk to 55° or below in the Receiver before it is
pumped but it does much more than that:
1. The faster cooling retards the growth of bacteria.
2. There is no agitation of warm milk.
3. It promotes conditions which may result in higher butter fat
counts.
4. It enhances the overall quality of milk.
5. It will improve cooling efficiency with the pre-cooler, you
can actually cool milk for less power cost than in the bulk
cooler itself.
Why use a Mueller Refrigerated Receiver?
1. It offers faster cooling It saves energy It gives you a
better product.
2. You can increase profits with lower bacteria counts and the
potential for higher butter fat counts.
3. The milk produced on your farm will have long shelf life.

way to pre-cool milk.

strain on the milk cooling.
