Most steer decline was on loads mixed Choice and Prime 35. Slaughter heifers fully 1.00, in stances 1.50 lower. Cows 3.00 lower. Bulls weak to 1.00 lower. Trading on steers was fairly active and demand generally good for loads Choice 23, rather, slow on loads YG 4 and loads mixed Choice and Prime 35 over 1200 lbs. The meat trade continued to make, wide price swings and took on a sharply iower tone on Wednesday after trading on steers and heifers was well underway. As a result,- demand was much lighter on the dose for loads mixed Choice and Prime 35 steers. The heifer outlet was narrowed after local plant closed last week but the full impact was not'measurable due to the small volume of this class on Wednesday. Receipts about 2300 this week as compared to 2946 a week ago and 2840 a year ago. SLAUGHTER STEERS: Choice 241000-1250 lbs. 66.5048.25,'m05t1y 67.0048.00 late, some early 66.00.
