offers scholarship
WALKERSVILLE, Md. - For
the 1981-82 academic year, three
$3OO Maryland State Grange Past
Masters Scholarships will be
awarded.
The Scholarship Committee has
established general guidelines to
be used in the selection of these
scholarships:
Qualified applicants interested
in the field of agriculture education
at a Maryland Community College
level will be considered for a $3OO
scholarship.
Applicant must write at least a
100 word, but not exceed 300 words,
resume telling his/her past,
present and future plans in
aguiculture, and hst memberships
in organizations and offices held,
etc.
Applicant must be a high school
graduate and a resident of
Maryland.
Applicant must have the
Md. names top
FFA land judges
QUEEN ANNE, Md. The FFA regions and one 4-H team
Future Farmers of America team competed in the event. Teams
from Queen Anne’s High School rated the soil’s suitability for both
placed first in the state FFA land agricultural and urban uses at the
judging contest last Saturday. University of Maryland’s Hopkins

on October 16,1981, at 7 p m. at the
Sheraton Inn in Frederick,
Maryland.
Deadline for applications for the
1981-82 academic year is August 1,
1981.
