Featured in this sale will be two Complete Dispersals:
The Complete Dispersal of the herd of Ivins L. Smith, New Hope, Pa.
The Smith herd consists of 31 cows, 6 bred heifers, and 7 open heifers. 9
of these are by Holhrex Other sires represented include. Starfire,
Choice, Rolex, Winston, etc. 7 cows are due in February 1981, 3 due m
March, and the bulk due in time for base period.
Also selling is the complete Larry-K herd of Larry and Kathleen
Quenpel, Benton, Pa. The herd'at present has a rolling herd average of
11,445Mand 538 F and is averaging 441 bs. per cow daily. Included will be
daughters of Choice, Hollirex, Maverick, Dan Fayvor, Winston, and other
high P.D. sires. A group of cows will be fresh or springing at sale time.
The balance are due in late summer and early fall for base milk This is a
good uddered, high producing herd.
