    Ag committee approves three Reagan nominees
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The
Senate Committee on Agriculture,
Nutrition, and Forestry last week
unanimously approved Seeley G.
Lodwick, John b. Crowell, Jr., and
William G. Lesher for top positions
at the U.S. Department of
Agriculture.
The Committee’s recom
mendation will not go to the full
Senate for a vote.
Lodwick, a native of Evanston,
111., is President Reagan’s nominee
for Under Secretary of Agriculture

Commodity Programs
Crowell, a native of New Jersey,
is the nominee for Assistant
Secretary of Agriculture for
Natural Resources and En
