Southeast Farm Credit
holds annual meeting
WEST CHESTER - The
Southeast Farm Credit
Associations held their Joint
Annual Stockholders’ Meeting in
two sections due to the large
geographic area they cover
The first was held on March 23,
1981 for the stockholders in Chester
and Delaware counties and the
second was on March 24, for the
Bucks and Montgomery county
membership
The combined attendance at the
two dinner meetings was nearly
750 persons comprised of member
stockholders, guests and friends of
Farm Credit
The Farm Credit System is
made up of three nationwide
specialized sources of agricultural
financing which include the
Federal Land Bank Associations,
the Production Credit Associations

and stated the purpose of the
meeting to be the election of
Directors and the 1982 Nominating
Committee, and to conduct any
other business, as necessary
He then appointed Isaac C
Geissinger, an FLBA Director, as
Master of Ceremonies
Earl B. Stove, FLBA President,
performed the same functions the
following evening culminating
with the appointment of Harold A
Knechel, an FLBA Director, as
Master of Ceremonies
Robert F DiMarco fulfilled the
role of Chairman of Elections at

Geissinger, Bucks County, was
returned to another three-year
term on the Southeast Federal
Bank Association Board
William P Moore and Wilmer L
Hostetter, both of Chester County,
were each re-elected to another
three-year term on the Southeast
Production Credit Association
Board
The 1982 Nominating Com
mittees will be, for the PCA
Richard Bechtel, David
Darlington, and Arthur Hershey,
and for the FLBA, Kenneth Beer,
S. Horace Mowrer and Fred L
Seipt

Meets English hosts

Nigil Clements in Berkshire, England. Beiler spent two nights
and a day with his hosts to get a first-hand experience with
European agriculture. The host family stay was part of the 17
day tour to West Germany, Luxembourg, France, England
and Holland by the 22 national Future Farmers of America
proficiency award winners.
