More Trouble Than It’s Worth ’
Stanley product orders were
taken The group deer ed to make
a donation to the Easter Seal
Society The society voted on the 4-
H program as a possible county
project for 1981.
It was announced that Society 6
will sew at the Lancaster General
Hospital, April 7 and that the group
and their husbands will meet April
27 at 6 00 p.m at the Leola Family
Restaurant for dinner after which
they will tour the Sperry Cor
poration at New Holland

Lancaster Farm Women 11 held
their monthly meeting recently at
the home of Mrs Herman Shirk
Members discussed the up
coming spring rally and the county
com ention at the Farm and Home
Center slated for November 7.
Society 11 will meet for af
ternoon sewing on April 8 from 1 to
4 p m at the home of Mary Swan-
Speaker for the evening was
Betty Graybill who spoke on hair
and skin care
The next meeting will be held
April 30 at the home of Mary

Lanaster Society 17 entertained
Society 7 on April 2 at the Chestnut
Level Church House. Eighteen
members and fifteen guests at
tended.
Members decided to make a
donation to the Bair and Helm
scholarship fund
Mrs. Robert Rohrer entertained
by singing and playing several
selections on the accordian
Mrs. Pat Walters presented the
history of wool and spinning. She
also gave a demonstration on the
spuming wheel.
Society 17 members are planning
to entertain guests at the
Conestoga View on April 16
A mother and daughter banquet
will be held at the Hershey Farms
Restaurant on May 7.

Each members made a hollow
chocolate mold and then walked
through the Evans’ store
Following this was a brief

was held at Covattos Restaurant
with 13 members present
The group was invited to "Ladies
Night Out” at Strausstown
Elementary School on Tuesday,
May 12 for a night of en
tertainment.
A motion was passed to donate
$25 for candy for the Hamburg
Center who earlier requested
money for candy or eggs
The meeting ended with a gift
exchange of secret pals. The May 6
meeting will be held in the home of
Helen Oxenford at 8 p m Kim
