Soil Conservation Service area
conservationist for the II counties
west of the Chesapeake Bay,
Gerald R Calhoun, state con
servationist, announced Tuesday
Edwards will be responsible for
administrative and technical
supervision of SCS field offices and
for coordinating USDA programs
relating to the wise use of soil,
water and related natural
resources He will be stationed at
