Under the guidance of Soil Conservation Services technicians, practices such as contour strips, grassed waterways, diversions, terraces, tile drainage and a farm pond will be installed. The purpose of the field day is to show the value of good soil con servation practices and the benefit these can provide to individual farmers as well as entire water sheds.
