higher. Slaughter cows enjoyed a
good demand and closed 2.00-2.75
higher; late sales Utility and

steady to firm, some 1.00 higher,
yield grade 1-2 1000-1755 lbs. 53.00-
58.00. Salable receipts totaled near
21,900 head, the largest weekly
receipts to date this year, and
compares to 16,500 head last week.
The majority or near, 90% of the
supplies consisted of feeder cattle
and calves; cows and bulls made
up six % of the receipts and
numbered near 1,200 head.
