Each spring the Dauphin Conservation District observes Arbor Day by conducting a tree seedling sale. These trees are three and four year old bareroot seedlings. Four species of coniferous trees averaging 12” in height and six species of deciduous trees averaging 20” in height are available. Forsberg elaborated on the species for sale. They are Douglas fir, blue spruce, white pme, Norway spruce, red oak, white flowering dogwood, black walnut, Russian olive and scarlet maple.
