ClS—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, March 14,1981 4-H news Thomasville 4-H EAST RERUN - Members of the Thomasville 4-H -Community Club exhibit committee will meet at 7.30 p.m. March 18 at the home of Mike Welsh, Rl, East Berlin to prepare the club’s exhibit for the 4- H Expo being held April 3 and 4 at the Delco Plaza. In addition to the county 4-H exhibit contest being held at the Expo, there will be a petting zoo and a fashion show. Members of the club held their February meeting in the form of a skating party with over 4-H’ers from the entire county. Three hundred fifty 4-H’ers and their families attended the event Food for the 4-H Auction scheduled for 6 p.m. March 20 will be prepared and served by the Thomasville 4-H club The auction will be held at the York County 4-H Center, near Bair. It is open to any teen whether a 4-H member or non 4-H member. The purpose of the conference is to provide teenagers the op portunity to speak out on issues affecting today’s youth; to discuss their concerns with resource people brought in to provide direction for 10 to 15 workshops on Saturday of the conference.
