Flood insurance limits increased
LITITZ Limits of flood in
surance coverage have been in
creased for residents of Township
of Strasburg, Lancaster County
This change, a result of conversion
to the regular phase of the national
flood insurance program, was
announced by the federal in
surance and mitigation office of
the federal emergency
management agency
As a result of recent adoption, by
elected officials, of measures to
safeguard property from flooding.

Federation has in
dicated support for
President Reagan’s
program for economic
recovery announced
recently to the nation
Robert B Delano said
farmers and ranchers
support the ad
ministration’s economic
package of spending
cuts, tax cuts,
regulatory relief and
stabilization of the
dollar
"We recognize that
the nation’s number one
problem of inflation
requires drastic ac
tion,” Delano said
Delano stressed the
program must go
through Congress as a
total package to be
effective
You cannot have tax
cuts without com
parable cuts in federal
spending if you expect
to reduce inflation,
balance the budget and
provide for economic
growth,” said the head
of the nation’s largest
farm organization.
The Reagan economic
package also calls for
reductions in the federal
regulatory bureaucra
cy
