mostly 3.00 higher. Cows and bulls
sold firm to 1.00 higher, however
not well tested late A higher
trending carcass beef grade
coupled with curtailed receipts due
to weather conditions forced
slaughter steer and heifer prices to
follow the pattern and closed
sharply higher than the previous
week’s dull close. Receipts this
week 2300 as compared to 4766 last
week and 4355 a year ago/
