He then became 4-H County Council President and received the coveted Clover Award and “I Dare You” Award, given annually to the . ‘ outstanding county member He has participated in all leadership projects, given demonstrations and speeches on county and state levels and been a member of the third place team in State 4-H competition on vegetable judging. Hottle, leader of the Spurs N’ Burrs 4-H Horse and pony Club for 9 years, has served on the Advisory and Review Committee and as Upper Bucks Representative for 4- H and has been active in the county program in many functions, as a resource person, project coor dinator and judge i dog obedience, rabbit production, cavies and small pets. She has served as coach of the County 4-H horse bowl team, which in 1980 won first place in regional and state and seventh in national competition. He has been a member of the Ex tension Executive Committee for 26 years and a director for 30 years of the Philadelphia Vegetable Growers' Ass’n and received the prestigious Master Farmer of Garden Spot Young Farmers to meet BLUE BALL The Garden Spot Young Farmer Association will hold its annual banquet this coming Friday, February 13. The dinner meeting will begin at 6 45 pm. at the Blue Ball Fire Hall In addition to the usual dinner and awards, this year there will be a special program on deer.
