have combined talents to
provide Farm City Week
tours for elementary
students at Twin Valley and
on the Food for America
committee.
Don is a noted Holstein
exhibitor at all local fairs
and 4H events. He exhibited'
the Junior .Division Holstein
Grand champion at the 1980
Pa. Farm Show. He also has
been an active dairy judger
in both 4-H and FFA com
petition In 1980 he won first
place in the Pa. FFA Dairy
Judging contest and was a
member of the first place
team in Pa
In the National FFA Dairy
cattle judging contest in
Kansas City in November,
he received a silver medal,
with the Twin Valley team
representing Pennsylvania
placing fifth. He has also
participated in project book
and farm business
management contests.
Don has served in several
officer positions in the
Chester County Black and
White 4-H club and has been
a member of their dairy
judging team He is vice
president of his church youth
group and is active as a
member Don enjoys
showing cows, riding cycles,
hunting, and electromcs He
would like to own and
operate his own dairy farm
in the future.

Roger Stoltzfus is the 18
year old son of Mr. and Mrs
Ralph D Stoltzfus of R 1
Elverson.
Roger is a 1980 graduate of
Twin Valley High School. He
has assisted with such FFA
projects as the chapter field
corn test plot, the recycling
center, and helped to con
struct a greenhouse at the
high school.
Roger has participated in
numerous dairy judging
contests for the chapter as
well as agronomy and farm
business management
contests. He placed 3rd in
the 1980 Berks Co. FFA dairy
judging contest and
exhibited the Ist place field
corn m the 1979 Berks Co
FFA field corn yield contest
He has shown dairy calves at
the Kimberton and Kutztown
Fairs and the S.E Pa FFA
Dairy Show, with his
Holstein Junior calf being

Roger has also had several
first place project books in
county competition.
He is an active member of
his church and its youth
group where he has held
several offices and par
ticipated in numerous ac
tivities. He enjoys skiing and
cycle riding. Roger is
currently employed on his
parents dairy farm. He
hopes to become a dairy
farm owner and operator m
the future.

Rocco and Margante
Delmonte. He has been a
member of the Philadelphia
FFA Chapter for four years.
Joseph’s projects have

sales, landscaping, creed
contest, farm show and quiz
bowl.

ting and fishing.
Barbara Strain has big
dreams for her future. They
begin with traveling to
Colorado to attend college
and they include becoming
an animal health
technologist
But for right now Barbara
is content just receiving the
Keystone Degree.

and Elizabeth Strain,
Barbara has been a member
of the Philadelphia FFA
Chapter for four years.
