No Competitor Can Beat The
WIC CHOPPER For
Performance And Cost
The Wic bedding chopper chops straw, hay or corn
fodder and spreads it uniformly under your cows, all
in a single operation. When you use chopped bed
ding, you save on straw and your cows stay much
cleaner. On top of that, cleaning up is a breeze...

Farmers looking
to no-till
LEBANON Predictions
of continuing dry weather
are causing more farmers to
consider no-till farming
reports Karl Hellenck, Soil
Conservation Service,
Lebanon County.
“This past year some of
the best com yields were
obtained using no-till which
allows the sod or crop
residue to remain on the
surface,” he said.

“It takes less fuel to no-till
plant,” said Hellenck, “then
plowing. And everyone is
concerned about the higher
fuel costs.”
Hellenck recommends
first tune users try only a
part of their crop in no-till,
and work with a neighbor
who has been using this
method.
“No-till farming takes
excellent management,”
concluded Hellenck, “but
the potential for higher yield
and more profit is attracting
the interest of corn and
soybean producers. ’ ’
