    Craftsmen awarded at Farm Show
FARM SHOW - Craft
smen and craftswomen from
all over Pennsylvania had a
chance to participate in the
Farm Show too this year.
The work which ranged
Corn husk is for recycling into flower
arrangements. That use of the crop by-product
earned Melissa Weaver, Jonestown R 3, Lebanon
County, a first place in 4-H crafts.
from traditional to folk
crafts, was judged Saturday
afternoon and was on display
for the entire week.
This year there were 29
classes with needlecrafts
and rugs being amongst the
favorites. Others, such as
cornhusk characters,
Mexican weaving and batik
had only a few entries, but
still were admired by
thousands of onlookers.

door decorations. Unique were the upper left
design, woven from wheat straw, and the wreath
