Penn State University will
be one of the speakers at the
Annual Berks Extension
Crops Day
The day long program will
be held on January 29, 1981
starting at 9 a.m. at the
Berks County Agricultural
Center in Bern Township.
Hatley is a native of North
Carolina where he received
his bachelor and master of
Science degree in agronomy
at North Carolina State
University. Elwood received
his doctor degree in
agronomy from Purdue
University.
His responsibilities at
Penn State include con
ducting programs in the
management of cereal crops
and soybeans.
The program includes;

visit commercial exhibits,
followed by ‘Managing Your
Small Gram” discussed by
Elwood Hatley; “Corn,
Corn, and More Corn”, led
