A heifer who made winning the grand champion banner a tradition was Royal
Charolais Company’s RCC Royal Temptress 2927. One of her many wins was
the grand championship in the female division of the Open Charolais Show at the
1980 Farm Show.
The 1980 Farm Show mai sixth consecutive grand championship for
this Belgian mare, Highland Lassie, who set this record as an eleven-year-old.

capture two female championships. To add to her list of honors, Diane was
named champion showman of the 1980 Junior show. She has reigned as the
1980 State Angus Queen since her coronation during last year’s Farm Show.
