gypsy moth meeting
HERSHEY - The
Dauphin County Com
missioners have announced
a public meeting to explain
the Gypsy moth rem
festation in Dauphin County
and the 1981 Gypsy Moth
Suppression Program.
The meeting will be held at
the Derry Township Ad
ministration Building, 235
Hockersville Road in Her
shey starting at 7:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, January 27,1981

Resource Specialist of the
Dauphin County Con
servation District and
William Slippey from the
Bureau of Forestry, Division
of Forest Pest Management
will discuss the life cycle of
the Gypsy moth, population
trends and control practices
Maps will be on display
identifying proposed
treatment areas in
Conewago, Derry and
Londonderry Townships
Township officials,
supervisors and woodland
owners from these
municipalities are urged to
attend
This year municipalities
where control spraying will
be conducted have been
requested by the Dauphin
County Commissioners to
supplement county, state
