Darell Oombach DARELL DOMBACH Lampeter-Strasburg High School Darell Lee Dombach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Dombach, Rl, Willow Street, who already works in agricultural mechanics, is planning to continue his career in that field or m production farming. He worked tor four years at the Cope & Weaver Co. and is presently employed at B-Z Small Engine Repairs in Refton. His FFA projects included tobacco in 1978 and 1979 and the Lampeter Fair baby beef and swine sale from 1978- 1980. He attended the state convention 1978-80 and the national convention m 1980. He served as chapter secretary and vice president and county reporter currently. He was County Star Agribusinessman in 1980 and received the Agri sales and service proficiency award. His other interests range from carpentry and wood working to all types of sports, particularly hunting, fishing and skiing. U * I * - ' * * \ V Gerald Garber GERALD GARBER Lampeter-Strasburg High School Gerald B. Garber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth B. Garber, of Eshelman Mill Road, R 2, Willow Street, has held all of the top offices in the Garden Spot FFA Chapter. He served as treasurer in 1977 and 1978, vice president in 1979 and as president during the past year. Also, he has earned proficiencies in dairy, crop and vegetable production. He was named Burrowes Scholar in Agriculture in 1978 and 1980 and County Parliamentarian in 1980. His FFA projects have included dairy animals and crop production such as squash, soybeans, corn, barley and alfalfa. Among his other activities are member of the Willow Street Mennonite Church and vice president of its youth group, member of the National Honor Society, president of the Golden Guernsey 4-H Club and member of the Lancaster County Dairy Judging Team in 1980. Besides showing dairy cattle, he enjoys hunting, snow and water skiing and riding motorcycle. He has served as Sentinel and received the Green Hand, Chapter Farmer and Red Rose degrees. This year he was also named Star Red P.ose Agnbusinessman. Terry is a member of the Chiques Youth Group. He plans to go to Diesel School and work in diesel mechanics. Barry Geib BARRY GEIB Manheim High School Barry. L. Geib, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Geib, Manheim R 4, has been a member of the Manheim FFA for the past three and one half years. During that tune his projects have in cluded Beef Growing, Market Hogs, Field Corn, Tobacco and Work Ex perience. He also served as chairman of the Project Book Contest, FFA Float, Livestock Show and Sale, Public Speaking, Window Exhibit and Eighth Grade Orientation committees. He has served as Chapter chaplain, vice president and this year as president. In addition, he is county FFA secretary and was a delegate to the county and state FFA. Barry has been awarded the Star Greenhand, Star Chapter Farmer, Red Rose and Keystone degrees. He has received gold placmgs m the state public speaking, project book evaluation and agronomy contests and has shown three grand champion steers at the Manheim Farm Show. His extracurricular ac tivities include being a member of the Chiques Church Youth Group, the National and State Trap pers’ Associations, the National Honor Society and the church softball team. In the future, Barry plans to go mto partnership with his father and brother on the home farm. Michael Hess MICHAEL HESS Manheim High School Michael S. Hess, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.
