This past September, after
their official incorporation,
the co-op began operating
under their new name Penn
Agnhol.
Serving with Kessler on
the co-op’s board of directors
are Stan Keller, Grantville,
president; Burt Nestelroad,
Parkesburg, secretary-tre
asurer; Douglas Spotz,
Grantville; Dan Wilhelm,
Harrisburg; and John
Shellenhammer, Palmyra.
What will the co-op be
offering its members’
According to Kessler,
Penn Agrihol eventually will
be offering alcohol as an
alternate fuel to its members
at a reduced price. At the
present time, however, the
co-op has not started making
the fuel it’s studying three
different methods of
manufacturing the alcohol
from gram.
“We’re shooting to be in
production by mid-summer
of next year,” said Kessler.
