the feasibility of a
mushroom co-operative.
“We hope a co-operative
would bolster our already
sagging industry m Chester
County” Kimble said. “We
want growers to be in at
tendance to offer
suggestions, and to ask
questions of USD A per
sonnel.
Kimble said members will
discuss mushroom
marketing and bargaining
as a means of helping the
industry during and after the
recently imposed tariff
increases expire.
“The Farmers Union has
worked hard to find a means
of relief for the growers.
